Application: Titanium and titanium alloy pipes are new structural materials. Because titanium has the characteristics of high melting point, small specific gravity, high specific strength, good toughness, fatigue resistance, acid and alkali corrosion resistance, low thermal conductivity, good high and low temperature resistance, and low stress under rapid cooling and heating conditions, it is applied to chemical heat exchange equipment, and continues to be promoted to petroleum, electric power, seawater desalination, construction, daily necessities and other industries.

      

In general, titanium tubes have been widely used in seawater desalination, petroleum, chemical industry, mechanical equipment, nuclear power equipment, power equipment, automobile and motorcycle parts, sports and leisure, medical parts, steel and metallurgy, high-tech and other fields, playing a huge and important role.

    

There are mainly two kinds of commonly used brands of titanium tubes: national brand and American brand. National brand includes: TA1, TA2, ta9, TA10, TC4, while American brand includes: GR1, Gr2, GR7, Gr12, gr5

   

As for the implementation of titanium pipes, the commonly used standards are also divided into national standards and American standards. National standards include gb/t 2924-2007 and gb/t3625-2007, while American standards include ASTM b337 and ASTM b338

    

The reference standard of titanium tube is GB 228 metal tensile test method; Gb/t 3620.1 brand and chemical composition of titanium and titanium alloys; Gb/t3620.2 chemical composition and allowable deviation of titanium and titanium alloy processing products; GB 4698 methods for chemical analysis of sponge titanium, titanium and titanium alloys.

Of course, titanium tubes also have some requirements for technology. For example, the chemical composition of titanium and titanium alloy bars should comply with the provisions of gb/t 3620.1. When repeated verification is required, the allowable deviation of chemical composition should comply with the provisions of gb/t 3620.2.
